The Gâteau gown is inspired by the handmade ornaments of early 1900’s gowns as well as the colour palette of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette. 

 

The dress is constructed using 100% silk chiffon in the palest shade of pink, adorned with hand-sewn bows made out of 100% silk duchesse in light pink and ivory. The chiffon base is gathered at the chest and then cascades down the skirt.

 

The gown is fully lined in 100% cotton canvas which makes it completely opaque, allowing it to be worn with a bra underneath if desired. This gown is not corseted.

 

Please note that the estimated timeline for the production of this dress is 8 months. Each gown is hand-made in Arizona by Maria Undo, the founder, so production capacity is very limited. 

 

This gown is handmade in the U.S. and it is not subjected to tariffs.
